LeeAnn has over twenty year of experience in education, both as a teacher and an administrator. LeeAnn is a registered Violin and Viola Suzuki Teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She primarily received her formal Suzuki training from Dr. William Starr and Sandy Reuning, both of whom were instrumental in bringing the Suzuki Method to the United States. LeeAnn has served on the faculty of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, The Longy School of Music of Bard College, Boulder Suzuki Strings, the Cambridge Public Schools, and the Ithaca City School District. Her students have performed at Symphony Hall, The Boston Celtics, Harvard May Square Festival and have been accepted into advanced level orchestras at NEC and BYSO.

LeeAnn is also a mother of a five year old who plays the violin. Her experience teaching and practicing with her child at home has been the inspiration for the Blossoming Notes approach and the additional support that the program provides families for successful home practice.
